Textile Love: New Scarves from Ma Poesie

4.23.2015

I featured Paris-based accessories line Ma Poesie on this blog a while back, so we couldn't be more excited to be adding this undiscovered gem to our shop. Designed and founded by Elsa Poux, her line of scarves and stationary features unique composition of colors and pattern inspired by different cultures, nature and the arts. I'm always excited to see the prints and color combinations she designs for her collection each season.  These lightweight breezy scarves from her spring/summer collection are the perfect accent for a pop of pretty color this season.

We love textiles and have been drawn to graphic prints and patterns from some of our favorite labels. So we couldn't be more excited to present our latest collaboration with Osei-Duro. Curently based out of Los Angeles and Ghana, this line of clothing and accessories was created by Maryanne Mathias and Molly Keogh to create socially responsible and sustainable clothing that encourages international/intercultural cooperation. Featuring their signature basket print, they've created limited edition scarves for exclusive to our shop. Add a lovely dose of pattern to any ensemble with this seasonless and versatile piece.

Textile Love: Maposie Scarves

8.06.2013

Although most fashion lookbooks usually come out ahead of the time, I try to do a fashion post relevant to the season. But this time, I just couldn't resist sharing these gorgeous textile prints of the Maposie scarves designed by French designer Elsa Poux. I've been following her work and these are just snippets of her truly amazing Fall/Winter 13/14 Collection. Combining lines and geometric patterns as well as vivid colors (loving the reds/oranges tones), I want to wear 'em all whatever season it maybe.

Dusen Dusen: Limited Collection of Scarves

12.11.2012

We're happy to share global finds as well as local finds from the US. We've recently added
designs from a few local home grown talents from New York in our shop. We're thrilled to present our first collaboration with Brooklyn-based clothing and accessories line Dusen Dusen, founded by
Ellen van Dusen. We've teamed up with Ellen to create a limited edition of scarves for our shop featuring her coveted prints: maps, trails and the waves print. They're versatile and beautiful and will take you through next season.

Our model is the lovely and charming Emi of the blog/shop, Tokyo Up, which features Tokyo street fashion and hard to find clothing from Tokyo's local fashion brands. Thanks Emi!
