Hope you had wonderful 4th of July!We spent some time in the beautiful
Adirondack's region for the holiday. After coming from the relentless heat wave we've been having in Southern Cal this past month, it was definitely a change to transition to the cooler rainy weather (and humidity!) in this area. Even though we didn't get to do much hiking, it was relaxing to stay in a log home surrounded by the lush greenery typically blanketing this region. About a half hour away to Lake Placid (previous home of Winter Olympics) and Lake Champlain, it was a home away from home featuring a charming wood stove and wall to wall pine wood paneling. Whether as an accent wall, wall to wall wooden panels, floors or ceiling, wood somehow adds an element of warmth and coziness to any space.
