Happy Friday! After traveling to different places around the world, one of my favorite travel spots is right here in our home state of California-the pretty
central coast. We're blessed with one of the most beautiful coastline with its quaint beach towns, untouched land and even a castle to boast (that's
Hearst Castle). While there are many places to visit in California like our popular cosmopolitan areas from San Diego, LA to San Francisco, the drive up Hwy 1 is truly spectacular for visitors and locals alike. Given the summer like weather in January, we were able to go for a weekend getaway to a pretty little coastal town of
Cambria, just south of Big Sur. It's only about 3 1/2-4 hrs from LA depending on traffic (it's a given specially in LA). Dotted with cozy little inns along the coast, we were able to snag a room last minute at the
Fog Catcher Inn-ocean view, fire place and free breakfast.Who can complain? I love the board walk along the coastline, that's my kinda hike! And we were able to stop at
Morro Bay (you won't miss Morro Rock!) for a yummy seafood lunch. A a short lil' weekend trip but pure bliss. Have a relaxin' weekend!
